Project: E-Clip Replacement Project
Location: Denver Colorado
Description
We were contracted to RTD in Denver, Colorado for this project. Project consisted of the replacement of approximately 12,000 Pandrol E-clips which were corroded due to mag-chloride exposure over the years as well as replacement of approximately 6,000 lineal feet of rubber flange-way filler.
This unique project required that we work primarily during non-revenue hours of train operations. Crews worked from 9:00 PM at night, under rail traffic, until 4:00 AM, with no train traffic from 12:30 AM until 4:00.
This project was completed ahead-of-schedule and under budget.
